Vacancy Closed: Ranger (Seasonal)
We are seeking a seasonal Ranger to join our field team delivering hoiho management and habitat fieldwork.
This is an exciting role. Covering the hoiho breeding season you will be carrying out the hoiho field monitoring program. This involves tasks such as hoiho nest searching, hatching and chick monitoring, moult management and a wide range of other tasks to minimise the environmental impacts affecting the hoiho’s survival.
As part of this programme this role also carries out habitat restoration work such as planting, track maintenance and weed control, together with predator control and hoiho advocacy.
This role is full-time and fixed-term, from October 2024 to June 2025.
