PM matches AUD

The Yellow-eyed Penguin Trust was delighted to receive an unexpected personal cheque from Prime Minister John Key in today's mail. An Australian tourist who saw yellow-eyed penguins on the Otago Peninsula challenged NZ's Prime Minister to match his donation of NZ$250 for yellow-eyed penguin conservation.

$250 is enough to purchase 25 native plants for penguin breeding habitats, 8 traps or 23 microchips for marking the penguins.
