Autumn at the nursery

It’s been a busy few months at our Trust nursery in Company Bay on the Otago Peninsula. Nursery Supervisor Louise and her team of volunteers work to raise 5000 plants every year from seeds collected locally, and once large enough, the native trees and flaxes are then planted in our reserves to provide sheltered breeding sites for yellow-eyed penguins.

Read about the latest happenings at the nursery in our Autumn newsletter.
