Be a volunteer
Register as a volunteer by contacting the Trust Office.
Nursery: ‘Wednesday Volunteers’ help in the nursery, raising seedlings and planting trees.
Trust Reserves: ‘Ranger Volunteers’ assist with all aspects of the Trust’s conservation programme including planting, weed control and reserve maintenance.
Administration: ‘Office Volunteers’ assist at the Trust’s Dunedin-based office doing anything from writing articles for the newsletter, stuffing envelopes and fundraising.
The Trust’s volunteer work does not involve handling penguins. This work requires a special wildlife handling permit from the Department of Conservation.
