Read Halfmoon Bay School’s blog and look at their movie to find out about their research into the plight of the yellow-eyed penguin. Here is how they describe themselves:
We live on Stewart Island where the sea is rough and the kids are tough. The Island has one school named Halfmoon Bay School. The oldest boy is Logan. He is 12. The oldest girl is Poppy. She is 11. We have got 22 healthy, adventurous kids; 15 boys and 7 girls. Everyone cares about the environment because it is our natural beauty.
